you?

How much is your time worth?
|
| How many hours do you currently spend planning
your lessons? With lesson planner, you can create lesson plans in half the
time. How many hours a week would that save you? A month? A year? |
| |
| |
Features that make Lesson Planner a leader in
its field.
|
- You can create an optional database of favourite activities which
you can use to build your lesson plans. If one activity does not work
well, remove it and replace it by another from your database.
- Link lesson plans to computer resources if you want e.g. worksheets.
- Print only the information you want in your plan.
- Automated lesson detail entry for rapid lesson building. Many sections
of the lesson plan can be entered simply by selecting from drop down
boxes that you have defined or, lists of frequently used items. There
is a separate list for each major data entry section of your plan. For
example, keep a list of all text book resources you use frequently -
need a text book for a lesson - select it from your list - simple.
- Lesson plan evaluation sections. What went well? Not so well? Ideas
for the Future? When you teach that lesson again next year you will
have everything you need to change the parts of your lesson that need
changing while preserving what was good. Lesson plans are totally editable
- remove an activity that did not work and insert another that did -
while preserving the overall structure of your lesson plan.
- Lesson Plans can be mapped to your own curriculum guide.
- Powerful IMPORT/EXPORT facilities allow you to share lesson plans
or activities with others.
- Build schemes of work (courses) out of your lesson plans. Define areas
like Course Aims, Content, Student Group, Assessment & Evaluation
(these areas can be called whatever you like). Then map your scheme
of work lesson plans to your course aims with a click of a button. Rearrange,
insert and delete lesson plans at the click of a button.
- Maintain Class Lists with parental contact information.
- Write letters home to parents by defining your own custom letters
that can insert the students name at appropriate points in the letter.
Includes page footer where you can define a reply slip. Writing to a
parent is as simple as selecting the student, selecting which letter
and pressing print. Letter Writer automatically inserts the parent's
name into the letter as defined in your pupil database.
- Powerful but simple to use Resource Organiser. This allows you to
categorise your computer resources (worksheets e.t.c.) according to
topics for easy retireval and attachment to plans. You can even type
notes about each resource for quick reference, or open that resource
in the document's native application for editing. A valuable utility
on its own, but even more valuable when writing your lesson plans.
- Annual Calendar. Program in your holidays and term times for quick
reference. Also plan lessons from this screen. Right click a date to
open your timetable for that date.
- Multiple timetables should you work a split system. Timetables can
be the starting point for Lesson Planning. Open your timetable. Hmm.
I need to plan a lesson for year 11 on Tuesday period 5. Right click
Tuesday period 5 and select Create New Lesson Plan. Date, Class etc
are filled in automatically in your new lesson plan.
- Professional looking printouts. Schemes of work, activities, lesson
plans (with as much or as little information as you want), lesson summaries
between 2 dates, class lists and more.
- Automatic backup of your data with the new FREE backup utility. With
Lesson Planner version 1.3. this utility integrates totally so you never
foget to backup your precious work.
- Much, much more. Try it and see.
